Engineering Students Inspiring the Next Generation of Nepali Tech Geeks
Children in Technology
Childre in Technology is a social initiative of LOCUS to inspire the next generation of tech leaders of Nepal. This program aims to influence and accompany the students from high school level, into the world of technology.
Under this program, the undergraduate students will be conducting chain of programs in various schools of Kathmandu valley where the students will learn to implement and understand technology with a much better perspective. Mostly, students from Computer, Electronics, and Electrical Engineering faculty are involved in this program.
Programs under Children in Technology
- Workshops/ seminars at an introductory level
- Presentations on latest technologies
- Projects to participants and direct mentorship programmes
- A competition among best projects in the “LOCUS 2018” Exhibition at Pulchowk Campus
The program shall be conducted by partnering with NGOs, INGOs other governmental and private organizations.
