Human Aid CodeCamp being organized at Paschimanchal Campus

Genese Human Aid CodeCamp is being organized at Paschimanchal Campus on 18th-21st of July under the joint efforts of Club of Technical Students (CoTS) and Innovative Computer Engineering Student’ Society (i-CES). The three-day code camp is an intensive coding platform for programmers and developers with innovative ideas. Themed ‘Human Aid’ or ‘Humanitarian Aid’ the CodeCamp aims to bring about creative ideas from the youths to solve a specific problem. With an objective of posing as an exposure platform for youths involved in the IT sector, the CodeCamp will help to enhance the problem solving and teamwork of the participants. The event is powered by AltBlocand is in association with Hima-Aus Education Consultancy.

The CodeCamp is scheduled to take place in IOE, Paschimanchal Campus grounds along with the Technical Festival, Vector. In the CodeCamp, the participants are to come forth with innovative ways to solve Human Aid related issues that we are facing in the current situation and implement them in the platform of choice. A prize pool of 40 thousand is allocated to the winners. The participants will also get a chance to interact with various talented mentors who will assist them in refining their ideas into a more mature business model and with their experience, help them picture the real world scenario even better.

During the CodeCamp, the participant’s lodging and food will be covered by the organizers for those coming from outside the Pokhara valley. Organizers ensure that the participants will have an amazing stay and experience in the naturally beautiful Pokhara valley. Groups from Kathmandu are highly encouraged to apply. The application deadline is 26th Asar 2075. A team of three members can apply. Students from any faculty inspired by the humanitarian cause and with the potential to bring an innovative solution to the table can be on the team.
