A workshop on Big Data to be held at Pulchowk Campus

A workshop on Big Data is going to take place at Pulchowk Campus with the combined effort of IEEE Nepal and Free Student’s Union in association with BEcon Fest(IIT Delhi Event). The workshop will be a three days event. To get the participants involved and get cracking on this immersive topic there will be a warm-up session (from Fusemachines) and two days (16 hours) intensive program which includes explanation and breakdown of theoretical concepts, practical applications and quizzes to evaluate performance.

Top 5 selected students will get the opportunity to participate the final round @ IIT Delhi Campus.  Accommodation is fully covered and partial transportation costs are covered for the winner. Winners are selected on the basis of the quiz, interview and performance.
Seats are limited to 60 participants only and will be given on first come first serve basis. The registration fee is Rs.:2000/- which covers certificate, food, stationery items and internet cost for the event. The registration will open at 8 PM on Saturday, 16th June 2018. Payments have to be made on campus time to ensure participation. More details will be available with the registration form.
