International Youth Conclave 2018 looks forward to presenting a common platform to, all young leaders, innovators, peacemakers, youth activists and civil society pioneers from around the globe to encourage themselves in understanding global issues and its policies, share their perspectives and knowledge on our global issues.

Eligibility
- IYC 2018 welcomes youth between the age of 15 to 35 years old from around the globe who have high interest in global affairs regarding youth.

Participants must at least be a high school student, university, grad school or be a recent graduate under the age of 25.

All participants should choose maximum of 2 thematic sessions.
The overall objective of the International Youth Conclave 2018 is to gather young leaders, innovators, peacemakers, youth activists and civil society pioneers from around the world in a single forum to share their experiences and knowledge on pertinent global issues. However, the specific objectives of the conference are as follows:
- To share the best practices through mutual learning on ideas and initiatives of advocacy tools to achieve sustainable development goals from the youth perspective and encourage youth to lobby them in their own respective governments.
- To share and explore the different ideas of inclusive policy-making, good governance, entrepreneurship development and SDGs among each other.
- To promote the idea of cultural diplomacy through inter-cultural dialogue, cultural exchanges and sharing of experiences to achieve peaceful solutions to conflict.
To enhance and promote the principle of joint advocacy and action to achieve global peace through shared responsibility
The will last three days and will have a grand opening and closing sessions and in between five intimate discussion and mutual sharing sessions.
Day I will begin with a grand opening session followed by the opening plenary. Notable guests of the inauguration session include Peace and Reconstruction leaders, Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. Resident Ambassadors, Senior Diplomats and UN officials will be invited as the special guests in the opening session along with National Medias.
Day Two will have two thematic sessions namely
- Climate Change
- Good governance
- Entrepreneurship
- Economic Development
There will be mentors in each session and in the end of the day participants will work together to find solutions to key problem they identity during the first half of the event.
Day Three; all participants will present their solutions they prepared in the second day. This day will have more key note sessions and will end with a cultural exchange.
The inauguration of the “International Youth Conclave 2018” will be organized at the Kathmandu City Hall that is ideally located in mid-town Kathmandu whereas the thematic seminars will be held in a close by conference hall facilitated hotel.
