Talk Show On Cyber Security Securing Electrical Power Transmission
As a key event of ICCCS 2018 which is happening on Oct 25-27,2018 in Kathmandu, IEEE Nepal and CARD are organizing a talk show on Cyber Security Securing Electrical Power Transmission And Distribution Automation System. The talk show is happening on Oct 26,2018 at ICTC, Pulchowk Campus. Following the recent cyber attacks in power grids around the world and to learn how Nepal can secure it’s Electrical Transmission and Distribution System, the talk is being delivered by Principal Engineer of ABB-India Development Centre, Mr. Sukumara T.
He has very good experience in developing Cyber Security Architecture and Secure Communication Design for power system protection and control products and platforms. He performs cyber security assessment and architecure evaluation for products and solutions developed in ABB Distribution solutions BU R&D centres across the world. Mr. Sukumara has 9 publications and 3 patents on his name. He is also a senior member of IEEE.
